PA-FAIL mismanagement of time (UPDATE)
Just took PA, going into the test I knew it would be hard. I actually found the test to be less difficult then i imagine although I didn't pass. Like many others after taking the exam I feel like I over studied. I studied various books and testing material. I used, hyperfine, ballast, AHPP, SWL, SPACE PLANNING, Problem Seeking, 4.0 SPD AND PPP, ADA, and random online searches. What I did not expect is was how long and multi layered the questions would be. I took my time going through each diagram which hurt me and i found myself in a clock challenge. I know now to watch the clock a little more next time...
I received my score report today find out i basically did HORRIBLE all 3s and one 4. During the exam i didn't feel stumped on a lot of questions. After receiving my score report this has been discouraging, I studied for months and thought I was at least close to passing and I wasn't close. I will prepare to study for my retake.....

Try not to go into the exam fearing the clock. Obviously, be aware that this is a TIMED EXAM but do not let the clock be a distraction.
My approach was always - Give each question my best answer at first reading. If I doubted my answer, or knew the question needed more time FLAG IT and come back later after everything is answered. Always remember that each question is worth ONE POINT and if you spend 5 minutes on one question that takes away from the 5 other questions you could have answered during that time.
I know its tough, especially with the questions getting locked out when you take a break. But DO NOT LET THE CLOCK BECOME AN OBSTACLE to passing.
