While reading through Chapter 50-3 - context related to Construction Manager as Constructor - on Ballast for Construction Administration
the book states " three main differences to note... Applications for payment are still submitted to the architect by the CM for the architect's review and signature. The CM issues the certificate for payment to the owner..."
However, after a look through A133 and B133, seems like, it is the Architect's responsibility to review the application for payment and issue the certificate for payment to the owner.
I am a little bit confused about the discrepancy here. But assume, the AIA document would always be the right recourse to follow?
Any thoughts on this issue?
