Amber Book - Study Schedule / Timeframe
I'm considering the Amber Book courses for ARE prep but I'm having a hard time finding much information about the suggested time frame or study commitment. I know the course comes with a suggested schedule, but I'm not able to access that info until I sign up. Can anyone who has used the course tell me how many hours per week are suggested with the schedule? Or how many study hours are recommended overall?
Thanks!

Hi Emily,
I have considered the program for a week now, and have no information you are seeking. I will probably just "pull the trigger" within the next week, but believe there is a significant cost difference when 6 people sign up as a group (with no formal commitment to the group). If this is true, perhaps we can save a little money together. I will continue to look at the info/suggestions you get. If all comments sound good, and a group enrollment is beneficial, I would like to "join".
Aloha,

Thanks William,
I am leaning towards using it as well but still waiting on state approval to register for testing to come through first. If you read through some of other comments there are usually others looking for a group - even a google sheet you can add your name to for group info. I'll do the same once I'm ready. Good luck!

You can see the schedule here . . . you bring up a good point: we should get that schedule on our website.--Michael Ermann, Amber Book creator.

Thanks Michael, it is hugely helpful to see the recommended schedule and level of commitment need when considering if this fits into my work/life schedule. I definitely agree that it would be a helpful addition to the website - I scoured the FAQ for something along these lines - I'm sure it would help others!

Hi Emily,
Oh, I see. It was 2 months ago for me that I was excited to see my "congratulations" email from NCARB that my jurisdiction opened my eligibility to test.
Hi Michael,
Oh, I see.... Haha. I didn't realize yesterday that you are the creator of Amber Book. Right On!! Mahalo for the schedule.
