NCARB Please help me reschedule my PcM exam
I had a terrible experience yesterday morning at the testing center and I am requesting your help to get back on my test as soon as possible. I was feeling confident and ready to take the PcM exam yesterday morning at 8:30am. Once I sat down, I was reading the agreement (which I always do carefully, it's a legally binding agreement, and it doesn't hurt to warm up / exercise my brain before the big test) not even three minutes in, and I get kicked out of the test with a message saying I declined the ARE candidate agreement and forfeited my exam fee. My exam was ended without it being started.
The Prometric staff was kind enough to troubleshoot and try to get me back on the test. After three hours of wait at the testing center, the Prometric staff receives a call from NCARB explaining that I was not allowed to take the test again, because I never pressed the "ACCEPT" button.
For starters, I did not get the chance to read the complete agreement. And how NCARB has the audacity to rush candidates to blindly accept a legally binding document? I do not think this is legal.
I called the NCARB Customer service right after the incident to file the complain and now I have to wait until someone assess my case to determine whether I can take the test or not, oh and if I do not hear from anyone by Friday, I should call back.
This is simply outrageous, highly unfair and abusive. We are professionals working for the betterment of our careers, how is an outraged situation like this even possible? NCARB should be held accountable for the lack of support, outrage, unfair treatment to its members and associates.
I await for the call or email to re-schedule the exam at no additional cost.
Sincerely,
Javier Vazquez
