Webcam?
I just participated in the 30 minute trial run (3 hours and 3 proctors later, due to technical difficulties)
My second proctor told me my webcam had a wide angle lens which didn't allow him to see my ID properly. My guess is that my webcam isn't up to par. My third proctor then told me that I was allowed to use the internal camera on my laptop, which conflicts with the information I have found. At this point I am still not certain if my webcam meets the requirements for remote testing.
Before I go out and buy another better quality Webcam, I just want to verify: am I allowed to use my internal laptop webcam?

I wouldn’t rely on the proctor’s information, as there has been conflicting advice between NCARB and ProProctor. I would follow the webcam requirements in the NCARB guidelines, p. 13.

The guides we recieved arent thorough enough. I also just completed the test run 2 days ago and purchased my webcam based on it needing to be removable and having a high resolution. It didnt mention anything about autofocus or manual focus for checking ID's. Both prometric and ncarb dropped the ball.
