Test Center Closed but Exam Appointment still Valid?? No answers from NCARB or Prometric
Hi,
I scheduled my exam to be at the end of February at my local Prometric test center in Santa Maria. However, that test center has been marked closed officially on Yelp and on Prometric's website. I've gotten no notice of cancellation or refunds from Prometric. When I called NCARB to get some help, they told me I need to talk to Prometric and they would provide direction on cancellations, rescheduling, or refunded test fees. However, no one at Prometric (through calls or half a dozen emails over the past 3 weeks) has gotten back to me with any answers about where the money is, or what directions to take regarding taking a supposedly still scheduled test at a closed center. Prometric's call cycle also says my appointment confirmation number is invalid when I enter it over the phone with their automatic look-up system, even though it says its valid online. When I try to reschedule online to switch to a remote exam it tries to charge me the $55 even though I should've been refunded the money with the test center closing. Has anyone else had similar experiences? I'm not sure what to do at this point since my appointment record still says the exam is STILL scheduled.
Please help!
