What is the correct form of Critical Path Method diagram?
On Ballast page 4-7, a sample of the critical path method diagram is given:
In this diagram, the circles represent starting/ending points of the tasks, while the arrows in between represent tasks.
In Black Spectacle's practice exam however, a question showed the critical path method diagram in a different form:In this diagram, the circles represent tasks themselves.
Which is the "correct" or "standard" way of drawing a critical path method diagram?
Thanks!

Hey! This threw me off when I was studying as well, but after some research with a friend we figured out the confusion. These are actually two different charts. One is a PERT chart and the other is a Critical Path Method (CPM) chart. I'm including a link that gives a great explanation of when you'd use one vs the other.
In summary though, they both appear very similar. This article explains it well.
