Field Report
In a few resources I saw that architect should note the percentage completed in the field report, and compare that to the continuation sheet for the payment, and some other resources say architect does not need to give a percentage on construction. I am not sure which one is right.

Hi Yusuf,
The architect definitely need to know the % complete in order to approve (or not approve!) of the application for payment from the contractor. In fact we need to keep track of all the trades % of completion - framing, mechanicals, finish stuff. We could have a large project with one zone is an early phase of completion and another zone with finish work going on. We look at a schedule of values to make sure the the contractor is not overcharging the client for each division of the work too. Googling 'schedule of values' may be helpful.
Keep studying!
