Writing out dollar amounts with or without commas - CE Practice Exam
Within my CE practice exam, the question was to provide "the amount of the new contract". Based on the format of the question, I wrote my value out in the same way as the question (With commas). The score report marked my response as wrong, even though the dollar amount was correct, with the only difference being commas. Since the question did not specify anything like only putting numeric values or do not put commas, how was I supposed to know the proper formatting of my response, especially when I chose to match the question information?

Hello Terry,
The response you input was counted as correct. The "Correct answer" result just shows the integer format since that is how the correct value is formatted in the exam writing software.
For fill in the blank items, any format of a number is read as correct as long as it is the same value. In other words 4,675,000 / 4,675,000.00 / 4675000.00 / 4675000 would all be acceptable and counted correct.
