CE Practice Exam Error
Hi, I feel like there is an error in this question. The "correct" answer states that the only thing wrong in the photo is that there should be a clean-out. However, the drawings not only show the clean-out, but they are also calling out a different diameter drain than the photo.
Unless I am wrong??

Hello Trenton,
The intent is to identify what element in the photo would be used to check for clogs in the drain pipe. There is some misalignment though between the way the question and the response rationale are framed. The wording implies that there is a discrepancy between the diagram and photo, which there is in the diameter even though the response rationale says there is not. We've flagged this item for review by our item writing volunteer architects. They will make any necessary revisions and place it on a future release of the practice exam.

I agree...that one had me scratching my head, too. But, the built diameter is bigger than shown on the diagram so it most likely wouldn't be an issue for clogging. If it were reversed and the built was with 4" even though it called for 6" in the diagram then I would say it could be an area where it may be clogged...It got me, too. but then I just took it to be one of those questions where they give you more information than you need to try to trip you up!
