When to incorporate design requirements of AHJ?
Looking at a question on the PjM practice exam that has you drag tasks into the shaded areas. Could anyone clarify why "Incorporate design requirements of AHJ" falls under Construction Documents? In my experience, those design requirements (things like FAR, setbacks, building height, egress components, etc.) have to be incorporated a lot earlier because they practically dictate the design and how the building takes shape.

Hi Natalia,
The FAR, building height, etc other basic massing regs are addressed in section 2, schematic design where it says "review applicable laws, codes, and regulations". The design requirements in section 4 would be more detailed building code requirements - things like stair height & width, fire ratings, for example. I think if they used the word 'codes' rather than AHJ, it would be more clear.
Hope this helps!
