    Check out Simplified Engineering 12th edition. First 4 chapters are great for base knowledge. And for an overturning example, go to Chapter 18. Hope it helps!

    It's in the Ballast book too, on page 37-11 thru 37-13.  The force acts is a triangle form, with the resultant 1/3 from the base of the wall.  The pressure at the top is 0.

    The formula for pressure at any point is:  P = CWh
