Insurers - Zoom study session
Thursday’s Zoom study session is titled, “Insurers” You’ll take the first five minutes of class to answer the question alone, but if you would like to get a head-start on that, here is the assignment.
An architecture firm is considering taking on a developer client deemed as having litigation risk. The program, for two supermarkets, involves an owner with a long history of filing claims against design professionals. The architecture firm, experienced at this building type, considers itself sufficiently insured and technically competent. When is the most appropriate time to first seek counsel from the architect’s insurance company.
Before the client is accepted
After SD, but before DD
After CD, but before bidding
After (if) a claim is filed
Please don’t post your answer.
The Zoom call will take place at 6pm ET Thursdays in our Zoom link: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/83922907346
