PPD - Project Costs and Budgeting
I am taking PPD next week for the 3rd time. My first time I scored a 30% on Project Costs and Budgeting and had passing scores in the remaining divisions. I mistakenly assumed that this meant I did poor math and decided to take the test again after 2 months with the same study strategy. The second test I scored a 50% on Project Costs and Budgeting.
Are there any suggestions as to improve my project costs and budgeting score? This is my final test and the only test I have failed. The good news is I know where my weakness is.
Thanks

Based on my limited experience (passed PPD last month on the 1st try), I would suggest doing a word search in the resources in addition to doing the maths if you encounter cost and budgeting questions in the case studies -- what looks like the best answer based on the maths could be prohibited by something in the zoning excerpt, for example. I had at least two questions I wouldn't have gotten correct had I not done the word search.
Hope this helps!

I am in the same boat. I failed PDD twice and I keep getting low scores in that area as well. I wish there were more practice questions that focused on this area.
The questions on PDD are so cryptic and non straight-forward. I took PPD and easily passed it on the first try. I think I truly underestimated power of PDD.

Pablo,
I took the test on my 3rd try and passed. I would recommend The Architect Studio Companion. It shows a breakdown of when to use each type of system with all the different variables. I believe that was my hole in the budgeting section. I read over the material multiple times.
I wish someone would have pointed me to this earlier and I could have saved some headaches.
