question on PA practice exam

Hi I am practicing the NCARB PA practice test. On question 12/75

I have encountered this question regarding the maximum commercial building sq ft on a combined C2 lots. There was an elect easement there that sums up to 1140 sf. The answer (although I got it right by guessing) did not subtract the easement from the total sf of the allowed maximum building footprint. We need to take out the 1140 from the total max allowed building footprint, right?

  Hi Maria! I just took this practice exam so it's fresh in my mind. I believe they didn't subtract because the setback was 12' and that easement was only 10' wide. So there was no reason to subtract it since the setback from that property line was further in than the easement.
