Study Materials for Project Manual and Specifications + Cost Estimates
Does anyone have specific study materials or suggestions for Section 3 and 5? In the past, I have done really well in Section 5, but did very poorly this last time. I am on round.....well rather not say, of taking PDD. I have passed all other exams. Would like to wrap this one up. Did fairly well on Section 1 and 2 and 80% on Section 4.
I have tried Black Spectacles, Amber Book, and have read most of the books from start to finish, but these sections aren't really covered in these materials.

Yes anyone that can offer help on this test, on round ... well let's say a lot and still can't pass this test. This book is great "Fundamental of Building Construction: Materials and Methods 6th Edition" or I believe other additions are good as well. This book helped for a lot of the test, but I still need some help with the where to get study info for the Project Manuel and Specifications as well.
Any tips would be great!

Same here. I am on round 3 for PDD. I easily passed PPD on the first go.
PDD questions seem so obscure and cryptic. I ran thru Amberbooks for the second time on PDD and still didnt help.
I believe I have the content down... I think I just need to practice responding complex practice questions to condition me for the next PDD.

Hi Cassie,
I am looking at my test result and have the same result as yours, 80% on area 4, not too bad in 1 and 2, and totally failed area 3 and 4. Studied using also B.S. and A.B. I have the Ballast book also but opening up this book only makes me zzzz...
I'm going to take a look through "Fundamental of Building Construction" recommended by Amanda Busby. Would love to hear what you plan to use to study now that I have exhausted B.S. and A.B.
