How do you determine which shapes have more or less wind uplift and what the are physics behind how it works?  thanks

  Generally steep roofs (up to about 7/12 or 30 deg) have less wind uplift than low-sloped “flat” roofs.
  It seems counterintuitive, but flat roofs have low pressure above the membrane as wind blows over the parapet.
