Three-way and four-way switches study session

Thursday’s 6pm ET Zoom study session is titled, “Three-way and four-way switches” You’ll take the first five minutes of class to answer the question alone, but if you would like to get a head-start on that, here is the assignment.

In an auditorium with four entrances, as shown in the plan, there are five switches that control the same set of lights: one at each of the entrances and one behind the stage. These switches must be wired such that changing the position of any one switch will toggle the lights on or off. Which of the wiring diagrams shows the correct way to wire the five switches?
