What are the Orthodox Slopes for NCARB
Does anyone have a table of the "correct" slopes according to NCARB? There are multiple conflicting ideas of what a correct slope is. This is what I learned for my Landscape Architect's License/ ASLA. Correct or Not?
0.5% drainage min for concrete pavement
1% drainage min for asphalt, drainage min for swale longitudinal slope
2% drainage min for grass surface, max ADA cross slope
5% ADA max slope before ramps, parking lot max
8.33% ADA max ramp slope, curb cut standard.
33% max slope for grassed surfaces
50% max slope for not-grass planted surfaces

This is a handy graphic.
I'd add that soccer & football fields need to be as close to flat as possible, while still having enough slope to drain, so 1-2% slope.
Hope this helps!
