Advises and tips for a foreign architect
Good afternoon community,
I am a foreign architect (Dominican Republic), I've been working for 3 years now in the USA and reporting my experience; now I am getting ready to study for the exams and was wondering if any of you have tips or advises for me. My main fear is that since I did not study here, I might have lack of knowledge in some topics.
I appreciate any words from your end.

My advice would be to try to get a good mentor (or 2)! Look around online or ask colleagues at work.
Also, if English is not your first language, apply for the ESL exam accommodations (unless you live in NY).
Start with the Project Management exam or CE. Gather your study materials and research the exams first. Read everything in NCARB's handbook and on their website. Look around in this forum too.
Ask questions & get help too!
Good luck!
