Second attempt strategy
Failed first attempt and weighing next attempt strategy. I see that you’re only allowed 3 attempts in a 12 month period, which has altered my thinking I could keep retaking every 60 days until pass. Would you jump right back in in 60 while it’s still fresh, studying the heck out of resources and practice exams? Wait 4 months? Didn’t fail by much.

I would re-take the exam in 60 days, and just keep studying... especially if you didn't fail by much.

Retake it in 60 days! Would be interesting to see an NCARB study of those people that take the test, fail, then how long they wait to take the same test again and pass or not. I'd be willing to bet those that took it again after 60 days do better then those that wait a year to take the same test again.
Also learn from the content you just saw and realize you didn't know. The best thing you can do is try to remember the subject matter of those questions you paused on or flat out didn't know. Use that as a resource to look up that info and study that content more in depth to help pass incase you get the exact same content on the 2nd try.
There were a handful of items I missed on a test that helped me to narrow down my studies so when I saw the same questions again, even on another division with the overlap, was easier to answer with confidence.
My 2 cents.

Sorry to hear that these test, especially PPD and PDD are hard, I recommend the PPI practice tests and quizzes to help learn how to interpret what the best answer is even if you do t know the answer. It’s almost more important to understand how to see the signals and key terms in the question to help narrow down the right answer to get a few more right answers out of the test. Best of luck with the studying!
