So for this answer, I did place the extension to the east of the existing building but I rotated the rectangle so the long side of the extension would be in the same direction of the long side of the existing building and I don't understand please why would that answer be wrong?

The case study scenario notes that 2 repair bays are to remain. By rotating the footprint provided and placing it contiguous to the high bay area as shown in the existing building plans, you would block the garage doors for those repair bays that were noted to remain.
