Which one of the following should the architect include in the playground design?
A. | Area drains |
B. | Slotted concrete pavers |
C. | Subsurface perforated piping |
D. | Brick pavers with open joints |
CORRECT RESPONSE
Subsurface perforated piping

Agreed Victor and to add...I believe there is a practical component to this question. It is a "children's playground", therefore exposed drains, concrete pavers, and brick pavers w/ open joints are all tripping hazards. The brick pavers open joints even hint at safety and ADA compliance.
Subsurface, or below grade drainage, satisfies/eliminates the civil engineering and saftey/ADA compliance messy stuff. Just my 2 cents.
