Please NCARB advise on this.

I did place a thermostat in each unit as required but not exactly in this spot, I placed them under the duct opening, I did not think this will be a reason for my question to be marked as the wrong answer?

Please advise.

  Hello Yvette,

  The VAV Terminal with Thermostat would need to be left of the supply diffuser in the diagram because that VAV terminal would need to be located in-line with the supply duct prior to reaching the diffuser. The Architect's Studio Companion's section on VAV systems gives a good explanation of how those systems work.
