Construction contract time VS. Architect contract time
Is this PPI2PASS question wrong? It looks to me that none of the options is correct.
Shouldn't construction contract time mostly start with whatever date in the construction contract (if not specifically mentioned in the agreement, is it the date of signing the construction contract or the date when construction starts?), and end with the issuance of SUBSTANTIAL completion? VS the architect's CA service which starts at the signing of the construction contract, and ends at the issuance of FINAL payment.
This has been always confusing to me even after reading the contracts many times.

You're correct, as per A 201 SEC # 8.1.1 & 8.1.2
Unless otherwise provided, Contract Time is the period of time, including authorized adjustments, allotted in the Contract Documents for Substantial Completion of the Work.
The date of commencement of the Work is the date established in the Agreement.
For the Arch, the end of Architect’s CCA services at the final completion w the final application of payment ( usually after the final inspection for final completion) however, Arch duties will end 1 year after substantial completion.
