So I took the Practice Management Exam this past Monday and found out I failed this morning, unfortunately. It seems that I did fine in 3 of the 4 sections, but Business Operations was my downfall.
This was my first exam and I would say I spent roughly 5 weeks reading most of the chapters Kevin G. outlined for the AHPP, reviewing terms and formulas, and listening to the Schiff Hardin lectures. Since Business Operations was a trouble area I'm thinking of re-reading Chapters 1 (Ethics and Professional Practice), 3 (Career Development, and 10 (Design Project Management), as well as Finance and Risk Management, because I'm not totally comfortable with that. I'll probably listen to some of the Schiff Hardin lectures again as well.
I think one of my bigger issues is applying the principles to a given situation. Any advice or tips for the future are welcome.
