Hi. If my 03/15 there aren't 600 candidates signed up to take CE or PjM, will other candidates have the $100 gift card incentive? I have my CE test scheduled for 03/17. Thanks.

The incentives will end for PjM and CE on March 15th. Based on exam volumes and seeing what is already scheduled, NCARB will have enough early tester data to move these two divisions into the next phase of cut score efforts.

Do we need to do anything to receive the gift card or will it just arrive in the mail?

James, there is nothing extra you need to do to receive the gift card except show up and test as an early tester. NCARB runs a weekly report of all early testers and then sends it off to the gift card fulfillment company. If you test as an early tester, you should receive your NCARB gift card from a company called SVM about three weeks after your exam date.

In my area, I was able to register for PA on March 1 due to limited Prometric availability at the end of February.

Will the early tester incentives still apply?

Salvatore, the incentives for PA are only for people who test on or before February 28th. Sorry to say, but if you test on March 1, you won't receive the early tester benefits for PA.

I am trying to take PDD before the end of February, but have not been able to transition because my score for PPP in 4.0 has not been posted. Is there anything I can do? I can't transition or schedule until I receive the score.

    Lisa,

I see from your NCARB record that you have a request in that requires lead time to be managed.  I'm looking into the status and will update you when I have more information.

    Lisa,

I've reviewed your record thoroughly and determined you will be able to transition to 5.0 by working with Customer Relations as soon as your 4.0 exam has been scored and the result posted to your record.  Keep in mind, there are incentives available for Project Management and Construction and Evaluation until March 15.

Thank you Joan. I will only be taking PDD and PPD in 5.0 so I'm just trying to get PDD while incentives are being offered.

During a webinar for NCARB attended by one of my firm's members on February 9th, we were told that incentives would be available for PjM and C&E through the end of March. That information was shared with us and some people have signed up for those tests for slots in late March. Now that they are only available through March 15th, will reschedules be available for free?

Halima, During the February 9 webinar there was no guarantee that incentives would be extended for any divisions but it was stated that PjM and C&E would likely be extended into March. Even with the major rush of candidates testing in late February across all divisions it became necessary to still extend PjM and C&E only until March 15. After that date, all of the necessary candidate data will be collected across all divisions.

NCARB is not offering free reschedules to support candidates wanting to move a scheduled administration forward - that will need to be a personal choice as to whether you want to test earlier to receive the incentive.

Hi! I just wanted to confirm that if I sign up for CE on the morning of March 15, that I will still be an early tester. Thanks!

    Hi Rebecca,

I can confirm that if you sit for C&E on March 15th, you will receive the early tester incentives.

I don't know if NCARB could have made the original post any clearer:

"Sit for these divisions on or before March 15, 2017, and you are guaranteed the early tester incentives."

Thanks for the input Daniel. I just wanted additional confirmation before I signed up from an NCARB representative.

Pretty annoying, having followed earlier missives.

Hello. Since neither CE or PjM reached the 600 candidates for testing, will the early incentive, particularly the $100 gift card still be available for people whose test is after March 15? Thank you.

The incentives will not be continued past March 15th. NCARB is moving forward with establishing the cut score for CE and PjM using only those administrations taken through March 15. Although not the initially desired amount of 600 administrations in each division, our psychometric consultants are confident in the results and our ability to establish a fair cut score. Based on their recommendation, we are moving forward to limit any further delay in releasing these scores to all of the candidates that have already tested.

This is great to know -- thanks!  I took CE already, and have PjM on April 7 -- have there been any estimates on score reports for those divisions?

Saw it in another post -- possibly early May for CE and PjM.

Jordan, I confirmed you were on our distribution list for this gift card on the next week's fulfillment and that the address we sent it to matches that within your NCARB Record. If your address has not changed, you should have received the gift card by now.

If your address has not changed, reply and we'll reach out to the fulfillment company and have them cancel the original card sent and reissue you another one. If your address has changed, please let me know and we can then cancel and reissue the card after you update your NCARB Record with your new address.

Hello Jared! Can you provide any updates as to when we will start receiving our test scores? I have taken 4 exams since January and have not received anything? I am assuming scores are coming in May, but I just want to verify.

    Thanks!
