My story: I've been in the profession for 30 years. I began my testing at the beginning of that tenure, passed all but my final exam. I was unable to retake and continue due to family reasons, and my testing accreditations have since expired.
I recently reached out to my local board to request extension of my eligibility to take the exams again. The reply requested clarification for my request, i.e., am I requesting to reinstate credits for tests taken or simply to retake the entirety. The request was intended for the latter. However, the reply inferred that if I was requesting the former, they would have to pose that request to the local board. Never thought that was a possibility, until now.
Question, has anyone experienced or heard of that as a possibility, that past credits can be reinstated under certain circumstances?
