Just found out that the credits you buy today are non-transferable meaning you cant use them on a PSI exam.  NCARB, please fix this because you're really nickel and diming us!  Make the seat credits transferable!

Any appointments up to the end of May 2022 with Prometric will be valid? Is this a correct reading of this article? PSI would then start afterwards? Please make the dates clear since we would be unable to reschedule.

    NCARB

    Hi Diana,

Any exam scheduled with Prometric is safe (through the end of May) and the exam will be delivered with Prometric. Exams scheduled with Prometric WILL NOT be migrated to PSI.

Greetings! I have been trying for the past 2 days to schedule an appointment with Prometric on May 31, but every time I get to the end and press "Complete Appointment" (ie: after selecting an appointment time and verifying all information) I get an error message that reads "Error - We were unable to book your appointment. Please return later to start your appointment selection again."

Could this have to do with the updating of using Prometric through the end of May?

    Hi Keri,

We can confirm that the Prometric scheduler is available through the end of May. The error message may be caused by another candidate also booking the same appointment time through Prometric's ProScheduler. You may consider trying a different date in late May if the issue continues to occur on the 31st.

For additional support with scheduling, I recommend reaching out to NCARB Customer Service.

    Hi Tiffany,

We wanted to clarify your statement on the use of exam seat credits. We can confirm that seat credits are transferable and can be used to schedule an exam with Prometric today or with PSI when NCARB migrates the ARE in 2022. One important note on seat credits, they must be used by the expiration date. As an example, if a candidate has a seat credit that will expire next week, they would need to schedule an exam with Prometric since NCARB has not yet migrated to PSI. If a candidate has an unexpired seat credit when NCARB does migrate to PSI, it can be used to schedule an exam with PSI. One additional note, exams scheduled with Prometric can't be rescheduled to PSI.

I hope this helps clarify the use of seat credits.
